FOLLOWING the recent burglary at Farnham Golf Club, detectives in Guildford have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to.

On Tuesday, October 2, three hooded men broke into the golf club in Blighton Lane, Farnham, and stole 20 of the club's most precious trophies.

The Silver Frigate Trophy, the club's most famous trophy, was stolen which was more than 100 years old.

Surrey Police put out an appeal for information at the start of the month following the break in, and had CCTV footage to analyse.

Detective Constable, James Hilton, investigating, said: "We are keen to speak to this man who may be able to help with our ongoing investigation into a burglary at Farnham Golf Club.

"I would urge this man, or anyone who recognises him, to give us a call."

Anyone with information about this burglary is urged to call Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference GD/12/8993.

Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
