Caterham Valley Parish Council annual meeting

Caterham Valley Parish Council invites you to come along to their annual Parish meeting on Wednesday 15th May 2013 at 7.30pm.  The meeting will start at 7.30 in the Soper Hall, Harestone Valley Road, Caterham.  It will be your chance to hear a report on the activities of the Caterham Valley Parish Council and to put your questions to them.After the business part of the evening, Random Greenway from Random Greenway Architects will speak about the Neighbourhood Plan and the Soper Hall refurbishment.  Refreshments will be available after the meeting.

Munch with Music
The May munch with music will take place on Wednesday May 1st at St Johns Church, Caterham Valley.  Coffee is provided from 12.15 and the performance is from 12.45 – 1.30pm.  This time you can listen to songs from the 20's and 30's presented by Nadine André and Paul Cavaciuti (Piano, Vocals and Drums)Nadine presented a very successful piano recital in the April Munch with Music.In the May event she shows her versatility by joining with her husband to present a selection of songs from the 20s and 30s. Paul is an internationally renowned drummer, composer, educator and music therapist.His performance career has encompassed a wide variety of world renowned artists and musical styles, from Indie, rock and pop, to jazz, fusion, Latin music and West End shows. Paul is also an extremely successful jazz educator.

Caterham Horticultural show
This Saturday, 27th April, the Caterham Horticultural Society will be holding their spring show at Hillcroft School, Chaldon Road, Caterham and anyone may enter by 8pm tonight, 25th April.  The show is open to from 2.30pm.  See http://caterhamdistricthorticulturalsoc.weebly.com for more details.

Tandridge Trust Taster Day at the Soper Hall

Tandridge Trust is holding a taster Day at the Soper Hall, Harestone Valley Road, Caterham, this Saturday 27th April, from 10-3pm.The day will include opportunities for adults and children to try out many leisure activities including watercolour painting, working with clay, art and craft for 5-9 year olds, silver jewellery making, Little Dance (creative movement for 3-6 year olds), mini soccer for 3-6 year olds, Hatha and Astanga Yoga, Bokwa, Contemporary, Jazz and Creative Dance for young people and adults, Cheerfit and singing with the new Caterham Community Choir!Booking is essential as there are limited spaces for each activity, call 01883 344355 to book your place now! Pay once and reserve your space on as many activities as you like. It is only £7.50 for Adults and children under 6 are free for the whole day.
