REDHILL have announced they have released striker Tyrone Pink, but there could still be another departure from Mike Maher's Lobsters before he is happy with his squad.
Speaking after last week's pre-season win over Dorking Wanderers, Maher admitted he was likely to cut two from the squad, and with Pink now having departed, the Redhill boss still has a different decision to make before the start of the Ryman League season.
"We are going to cut the squad to 20 at the most, 18 at the minimum," Maher said.
"We have 22 at the moment so two will be gone before the start of the season but that is just the progress.
"I was as good as my word to all the boys last year, I said to them they are all welcome back, unfortunately some of them came back and they were too lackadaisical.
"They kind of thought 'this will be easy', they thought they had done it last year so they will do it this year, but it's a step up."
As Redhill prepare for their first season in the Ryman League, Maher has made three key signings to strengthen the core of the side, but believes striker Richmond Kissi, formerly of Erith & Belvedere, will soon become a fans' favourite at Kiln Brow.
"Jon Boswell, Sam Robinson and Richmond Kissi are our three headline signings," Maher said.
"Kissi is a tremendous player; he scored 23 goals from 21 starts in the Kent League, which is a notoriously 'kick you up in the air' league.
"I'd spoken to Joe Bingham about Kissi as well because they were both at Charlton on trial and Southampton and Cardiff as schoolboys and Joe said if you can get him, he'd be a fantastic signing. Richmond looked outstanding against Dorking."
