JODY FANNIN, is making a move into the top echelons of European GT racing with an outing in the Blancpain Endurance Series at Navarra in Spain.
This year's British GT4 champion will be in a Ferrari 458 GT3 run by Redhill-based team Scuderia Vittoria.
He will be sharing the car with Paraguayan driver Danny Candia and David McDonald from Scotland.
The MSA academy driver, a former Oxted School pupil, said: "I'd like to thank Scuderia Vittoria for giving me this opportunity. "It's a massive step up from the GT4 class of the British GT Championship and I'm there to learn as much as I can and of course, get a good result for the team."
Scuderia Vittoria team boss Tom Ferrier added: "All of us at Scuderia Vittoria are extremely excited about Jody joining us for the last round of the Blancpain series at Navarra.
"He has proved his worth by winning the British GT4 championship and after his brief run on Tuesday at Donington we have seen his true potential to shine on the bigger stage in Europe.
"His attitude was very mature and pace was great straight out of the box. We believe we now have a very strong team together to get a great result."
After an eighth win at the final round of the British GT Championship at Donington and a second place in the Dutch GT Championship at Zandvoort on consecutive weekends, it is an unexpectedly busy time for the nineteen-year-old from South Godstone.
"This is what I want to make a career out of, and having three races on consecutive weekends in three different countries is fantastic - I can't wait to race the Ferrari!"
